Keyboard Shortcuts

Outside of editing mode—where the keyboard is used extensively for editing—there are only a few keyboard shortcuts. But they can be really handy… especially the spacebar one.

On a song page

  spacebar   to play or stop playing

Enter to play or pause

Backspace Delete to restart

– and + to lower/raise the speed by 1 BPM (hold down Shift to adjust by 5 BPM)

Everywhere

/ is the fastest way to search for a song. It moves the keyboard focus into the search box so you can immediately start typing in a search term. If you have a song open when pressing /, you’ll be brought to the song index.
