Sharing lists with other users

You can share a link to any song list in Strum Machine. Anyone with the link can view the list, open its songs, and add the list to their own account if they choose.

Share a list

On the home screen, find the list you want to share. Click the menu on the right side of the list, then click Share:

This opens a page with sharing options for the list. You can copy the link, send it by email, or use another sharing option if your device provides one.

Shared lists are still yours

Shared lists are only editable by you by default. Other people can view the list and add it to their own account, but they cannot change your copy.

If you want others to help maintain the list, turn on “Allow other users to add/remove songs” on the list-sharing page. Be careful with this option: anyone with the list link can add or remove songs from the shared list while it is turned on.

Share lists publicly

Folks have started sharing songs and song lists on the community forum. Go to Categories and then Share Your Charts to see all the shared songs and lists in one place, and feel free to contribute your creations.
